so, serving "the one true god" and being "in the truth" are supposed to make jw's better people.
they are bringing their "truth" to people and that probably makes them feel that they are good to "worldly" people.but they do it to "get their time in.

I wonder how many ex-JW's on this forum have knowledge of elderly, faithful JW's who were basically dumped into nursing/retirement homes and were effectively abandoned and forgotten by 95% of their "brothers & sisters?"

after almost 2 years into my fade these bastards won't give it a rest constant hang ups on my answering machine and today for the first time in about 6 months they come to my apartment complex but thankfully couldn't get in they did keep buzzing me so they were here looking for me.
Don't live in fear and hide from these people. Confront the scumbags who are trying to confront you, and hit them with this:
"Thank you for your concerns brothers, but I have private & personal issues which I can't discuss with anyone at the moment, but I certainly appreciate your motives and concern. If things change, I know that I can call you."
They'll get the message.

The "publishing of the good news" has now been gladly discarded by many JW's who can easily achieve their required monthly report time by standing mute at the side of a trolley - saying nothing to anyone about anything.
Their "witness" (aka marketing) is now to advertise the bright blue JW dot ORG logo.
from 2012 thru 2016, congregations in georgia and alabama collected funds to build a new assembly hall in south atlanta.
to date, 3.5 million dollars was collected and 75 acres was purchased.
the branch decided that this assembly hall was not needed.
C'mon guys, all your criticisms are unfair! The WTBTS/CCoJW is a charity, and charity begins at home.

it's been several months since i turned in my time and i think the elder got tired of asking me lol.
frankly, i think it's stupid that jws are required to do this.
